Mashtots Institure of Ancient Manuscripts (Matenadaran) has one of the World’s largest depositories
of ancient books and manuscripts. Here you can find more than 50000 manuscripts
and documents on a large variety of topics, such as history, philosophy, medicine,
geography and many more.
The traditional Armenian illuminated manuscripts will
impress you with its unique beauty of colors and shapes, where every small piece has its meaning and philosophy.
2.Yerevan Opera Theatre:
Armenian
National Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet after Alexander Spendiaryan is a
place where each and every person has a chance to dive into music and will feel like
home. It was founded in 1933 and since then it has hosted most of the important musical

3.National Gallery of Armenia:
The
National Picture Gallery of Armenia is located at the Republic Square of
Armenia. Established in 1921 it includes around 26000 pieces of art. Here you
can find exhibitions of: Medieval Art (documental copies of Garni Temple’s
mosaics, wall-paintings etc.); Urartu frescoes (860-590 BC); Armenian classics;
Oriental arts and so on.
4.Karen Demirchyan Complex
Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concerts Complex is a large sports and concert complex consisting of the Concerts hall and the Sports hall. Also, Hayastan conference hall and Argishti hall are designated for diplomatic meetings, exhibitions and other events. The complex has hosted famous musicians and bands, such as Deep Purple, Jethro Tull, Serj Tankian, Garou and others.
Out of musical and sport events you can visit the complex for figure skating shows or to skate yourself.
